Re: [RC] [RC] Boa Boots - website - terry banisterDon't be so quick to be discouraged. You could still use them for all your conditioning rides and only use the Easy Boots for race day. That is still a great convenience. And just because they put a disclaimer on the Boa Boot not being made for endurance, doesn't mean that you will definitely have problems. He said they were tested at 40 miles for 8 hours without problems (so what would another 10 miles hurt?). I have always just used boots for conditioning rides and been too paranoid to use boots on race day (I have had no luck keeping Easy Boots on, and refuse to bother with cutting, wrapping, foaming and taping). However, because I want to move up to multidays and 100s, I experimented on my last two 50s by putting on the Old Macs (which I use for conditioning rides) at the lunch break. It worked fine.So if you are doing multidays, you might be able to use Boa Boots one day, and alternate with Easy Boots or Old Macs the next day, etc., etc. Terry "May the Horse be with you" From: Nell Lindquist <frazer1017@xxxxxxxxx> To: ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [RC] Boa Boots - website Date: Wed, 21 Jan 2004 06:35:21 -0800 (PST) _________________________________________________________________ There are now three new levels of MSN Hotmail Extra Storage!
