[RC] Arizona vacation & horse that loses steel shoes - Jena WilliamsWe use Old Mac's horseboots on all of our horses. We ride in the hills of Southern California, and it can be pretty rocky. We have had our original set of Macs for over 2 years and they are still useable (frayed a bit, but lots of tread left). I would estimate that set to have over 500 miles on them. I love that I can leave my horses barefoot, or use the boots if I know I am going to ride terrain/speed that would chew up their feet.
