[RC] the hoosier big daddy ride. - rides2faralso the weight classes..this is including all tack etc? And if your weight > varies greatly (I am gonna kick it in the butt to lose some weight prior) how > strict do they adhere to thse wt classifications..would i have a problem > dropping down in to the next level on ride day? Thanks again lori Weight includes tack. You choose your weight division at the beginning of the year and stay in it. If you're at the back and you're in the points race or placing in your weight division nobody is going to care if you're a couple of pounds under. If you do plan to place you can always put an extra waterbottle or so on your saddle. If you feel sure you're going to eventually be in the lower weight catagory there's no requirement that you be down there, only that you not be below weight...so if you're a middleweight now and declare as a lightweight you're not breaking the rules, even if you don't make it.
