Fw: [RC] Hi-Tie's and wheel wells - Dot WigginsI have seen a piece of ply wood cut to fit inside the fender of a trailer to cover both wheels so a hoof could not get between the wheels or under the trailer. I watched a horse suffer really severe lacerations on a Pony Express ride when it rolled and caught a rear leg in the wheel well. It was not a pretty sight.
