[RC] cubed hay - Ridecamp Guest

Has anyone ever tried cubed hay as a basic forage for their horses on a 
temporary basis?  I am interested in finding out what you think about either 
alfalfa cubes, blended grass and alfalfa cubes, or grass cubes?
