Everything male is neutered except the 14 year old son. Even the husband is snipped, althouh he sired some healthy and not too dumb kids, two was enough. I feel like it was a good cross... the kids needed some brains (my side of the family)...and through the infusion of his good strong Irish peasant stock they got some decent bone and vision.. Just leave your husband out of the decision ( mine has no influence on horse decisions) and call the vet!
