[RC] heating a small space - Alice YovichI think that dachshunds also put out lots of body heat. I went to a ride where it was 24 degrees at night. I slept in my cot tent in my sleeping back, but my backside was really cold, even though my top was warm. In my arsenal I had my wire haired dachshund with me. He's the king of all heaters. I also do own a JRT (but didn't at the time) and I can see where he would be a great source of warmth, but the dachshund is a better snuggler. At 08:54 PM 9/19/2004, Ridecamp Digest wrote: If that doesn't work out bring along a Jack Russell Terrier....they put out more body heat per square inch than any other animal known to mankind. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
