[RC] How to use center fire rigging - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

OK, I have a ? about center fire rigged saddles.
How do I attach the girth? I have a Big Horn.
It has a ring which is attached to the tree by
two straps in a V shape on each side. There is
another ring set further back. Currently I am
attaching the strap to the rear ring, running it
through the girth, and then tying to the front ring,
but this causes the nylon strap that runs from the
rear ring to rub my horse's side unless I use
a very long pad. It recently occurred to me that
maybe I should just use the front ring like a normal
Western saddle and that the back ring is for a
rear girth, which I wouldn't use as I plan no
roping on the trail! Can those of you who have
Big Horns or similarly rigged saddles please
let me know what you do?
