Re: [RC] Tendon injuries - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Nicole z_arabs@xxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== What do the vets out west recommend for major tendon injuries? Tom Ivers in "The Bowed Tendon Book" recommends NO wrapping. And that's what I did with my mare's rear leg low bow. I hand walked, then moved her to walking on the lunge (couldn't believe she would do that when she hadn't been out to buck or run or play in months), eventually walking with me on her back (bareback and in a halter, by that time she seemed to have decided she'd never do anything but walk ever again). Since then she's done a couple LDs & 5 50s. ~Nicole =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
