I bought a "drenching gun" from Steve Elliot at Equine performance products..It is virtually impossible for the horse to NOT get the e-lytes we mix..Dynamite probiotic/applesauce/elyte powder.... Talk with the manufacterer and they can explain things to you. Because of cost, I too have decided to move away from the paste, all though I really like the LyteNows. If my horse would leave more in him, then ON me, it wouldn't be as big of a problem. :o( Many rides he has done, with maybe a total of one dose, put together. So, if I have to wear them, then I am going to a powder, and mix them up myself.
