Re: [RC] BSF 2004, Part 2 of 3 - rides2farOn this ride, I decided I wanted to take advantage of some of the puddles, but didn't want to stop. So I walked past the puddles, dropped the sponge in and snapped it up while continuing to walk on. I even progressed to trotting up to the puddle, walking while getting the sponge wet, and then trotting on while squeezing the water on. Sounds like you're doing great. Next step: As you trot up, throw the sponge down kind of hard as far ahead of your horse on that side as you can reach, leave it there as you continue to trot by, then swing it *behind* you in an arc (as you maintain your trot), then let it swing back in front of you like a pendulum and snap it back to your hand at the height of the arc in front of you. It's very rythmic and easy once you get the rythm and you should never have to alter the speed of your trot.
