Re: [RC] Tights Required - heidiI'm much more concerned about my comfort than what I look like. When riding endurance, comfort for me, and for the horse, are foremost. If someone doesn't like the way I look in tights.......tough!
Being another one who doesn't look very appealing in tights, I have to
agree wholeheartedly with Barbara here--it's all about comfort, and if
anybody else doesn't like it, they can look the other way... <g> My
figure in tights reminds me of one of my favorite old lymericks:
"I know how ugly I are;
I know my face ain't no star.
But I don't mind it
'Cuz I'm behind it!
The fellow in front gets the jar!"
To the original poster--you'll find you have lots of company on the trail
with "thunder thighs" and "jelly bellies" so don't be shy--wear whatever
works for you, and don't worry about how it looks, because the rest of us
are too busy riding to worry about it either. :-)
