Re: [RC] [RC] Feeding Colt - Nat NelsonI've found that feeding specially formulated feed for young horses a great help. Products such as Purina Equine Junior. Many feed stores have grain & pelleted feeds formulated for youngsters for your area and include all the need vitamins, minerals and amino acids needed. You can ask your vetreniarian on which product he/she would recomend. Nat Nelson Buckeye, AZ --- RHightshoe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: It has been many years since I brought home a weanling. Today I bought a six month old colt. I would appreciate feeding recommendations to help maximize his growth and health. What, how much, supplements, etc. ? I can feed as much timothy hay as needed. I would appreciate some help. Thanks. Bob ===== Natalie "Nat" Nelson Cross 5 Ranch Buckeye, Arizona http://www.cross5ranch.com __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
