Re: [RC] [RC] Saddles and more - Mel Copeland

I would like to ad a bit of detail to that question since I am thinking about saddle too. I am currently looking into Wintechs I am not sure about getting a dressage and adding rings to it, or just getting an endurance. The horse I am planning to ride is gaited and I hear that the dressage is better suited for the gaited horse. I have heard that endurance saddles are designed for standing in the stirrups alot?!?!?!

I am on a tight budget being a year out of college and still paying off student debts. So with that in mind I am looking for something around $900 or less - any suggestions?

Of course, all of this will come AFTER I buy a trailer :-)

Has anyone got any good reasons why I should not buy a 16' BP stock style trailer with a center divider???? I hate slant loads and the big compartment in the stock trailer seems to soothe my youngsters loading anxieties.

LOL!! IMHO, there is no best and worst in saddles.
It's such a subjective thing and so dependent on how
it fits the horse and rider and what the rider likes!

There are as many opinions on saddles as there are
riders! No two will agree completely.
