To day the wellington area started evacuations to Ga., anywhere but Fla. Many areas still do not have power. people are very depressed going on day 5 of no power., little assistance and another one on the way. For those of you making the big decision to go north, please know ther are many helpful places here in Ga, the list on SERA is huge and helpful. Get you coggins and paperwork together now.You have free access aparently just grab a sheet as you pass the ag station on you way out of state. Be considerate of host barns and have vacc current and coggins handy. you will most likely not be turned away. We have good hay and grass this year and electricity! it is a good time to visit. I am expecting family if it keeps on course and there is more than 1 way out of the state. Ps .
