When my HRM or its watch need batteries, I take them
to a jewelry store. They've done some minor repairs
there for me. Maybe such a place could fix some  of
your stuff...

OTOH, you've just created a new business!

Over the years I have accumulated several heart
monitors and transmitters, of which some appear to
no longer function, even after battery replacement. 
Does anyone know who might refurbish and/or repair
them?
