Re: [RC] Heart Monitor Repair - rides2farI got a heart monitor a year or two ago and it arrived with a broken buckle on the wristband, but I didn't make a big deal out of it since I intended to tape it to a hand held deal. Now the whole stupid mount to the wristband broke off. Why do they make such an expensive piece of equipment with such a cheapo band set up? I've known several people who have lost their heartmonitors when the band broke...it's plastic and sweats you...I just don't understand. There's no reason for it to have pins at all since pins are usually the first things that go. Does anybody make a heart monitor with solid mounts (no pins) that you could put one of those continuous nylon with velcro attachment bands on? Angie Over the years I have accumulated several heart monitors and transmitters, of which some appear to no longer function, even after battery replacement. Does anyone know who might refurbish and/or repair them? ________________________________________________________________ Get your name as your email address.
