Re: [RC] Equipedic pad - Barbara McCraryI can't answer to using the Equipedic with an Ortho-Flex saddle, but I love mine with my Arabian Saddle Co. Sylvan GP. And yes, my horse moves noticeably better with it. It has caused no problems with my horse during the two 50-milers I have done this spring and summer. Usually people are commenting about helping out the fit of a fixed tree saddle. My question is this: Who can comment about using one under a western Ortho-flex?(which has leather flex panels, and is less flex then the english panels) I am used to a thinner pad, like the Supracor barrel pad, or a 3/4 inch Tacky Tack pad. I was wondering if the temperpedic foam compresses so you don't feel way above the horse? Does your horse move out noticably better with it? Does the bottom side of the fabric gall the loins if a horse has a fair amount of "body roll" in their backend? Thank you, Natalie Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
