RE: [RC] [RC] Boards At The Top of Fencing - Mel CopelandHey-I have the no-climb horse fence. I bought the 5' high stuff and have not had to put anything across the top. The fence is too tall for them to get much more than their nose over so they can't mash down on it and make it sag. They do like to scratch their bums on it in a couple of places so that is an issue. I think if I were refencing I would go with the 48" no climb and a strand of 1 1/2" tape along the top powered by a solar charger. No wood worries their and much easier to install and maintain.
