Re: [RC] [CTR] Re:horse books - JL ThompsonOne of my old favorites: Riders by Jilly Cooper. It's about the world of international show jumping, and can get a little racy at times, but it's a great read. You fall in love with the horses too....especially one called Sailor. :) Jennifer -----Original Message----- From: Tracey Smith <tracey.smith@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sep 2, 2004 12:13 PM To: horsesctr@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [CTR] Re:horse books Two very good fiction horse books I have recently read are: Dark Horse by Tami Hoag- suspense, murder mystery type set in the Palm Beach Dressage community. Riding Lessons by Sara Gruen- Story about a woman who moves back to her family's horse farm in New Hampshire after a divorce...really nice feel good read. I passed my copy along to Alice at the Parrie Haynes ride after finishing it and told her to keep it moving around our region 4 family I have read lots of non-fiction horse books, but my current addiction is fiction novels with horsey themes, so I am taking notes on this thread as it has given me some new "must reads" to look for.
