FW: [RC] speed of gaited horses - Mike SherrellWith the Peruvian you try to loosen your lower spine, between your pelvis and your ribcage, so that from your ribcage up you don't move, but with your pelvis you follow (and direct) the horse's movement via his back. That said, with your seat you relate to his hind feet and with your hands you relate to his forefeet. It helps if you can learn to identify the sound of each foot hitting the ground so that with your ears you can tell exactly what he is doing. Anyone have any hints about riding the rack? From: "Mike Sherrell" <mike@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: FW: [RC] Speed of Gaited Horses/Mules Too bad he's gelded. Maybe he can be cloned.
