Re: [RC] [RC] Horses!!! stop with the height - kit katHello all!Well, I havent been reading this.. But I did see the height thing and the first thing I noticed was nothing over 16hh.. or was it 16.1hh? I do agree, it is personal preferance.. I personally love horses around 14hh. BUT, and yes there is always a but, I ironically fell in love with a 16.2hh standardbred mare. She has won almost $100,000 in her 4 yrs of racing. Maybe she will be a good endurance horse and maybe she wont. But I saw athletisism right away and she knows how to work when asked. I have now ridden her 6 times( she was off due to a injury when I bought her) and so far, she is wonderful.. I look forward to doing many years of endurance with her and maybe.. JUST maybe the tevis cup.. and be the onluy 16.2hh horse there;) So, I think height is only what you make it.. Yes, im sure there are tones of facts that state a smaller horse is better or a bigger horse is better.. like I said, I havent really read the thread, but If my mare does good.. then.. great.. If not.. No biggy right? Just my 2 cents worth!
