just want you all to know..i live in washoe valley and the fire is/was north of here.  it is expected to be 100% contained by saturday.  the wind can blow from the north, but usually blows from the south, so...so far, no smoke...no fire in washoe valley.  even tho!  our local radio station KUNR (NPR station) clearly said the fire was in washoe valley.  NOT TRUE!!!!  (yes, i do know how to use the SHIFT button on my keyboard)

so, come and ride.

HUGE fire burning (2000 acres so far) in the area where the Tour De Wahoe is held.  Make sure it isn't cancelled before traveling up to Washoe Valley.
