Re: [RC] blind horses - Nancy SturmIn my running days, I ran a couple of 10 K's near a blind woman. Even though she had a silk scarf tied to her wrist and to the wrist of her running companion, I always marveled at the courage it must have taken to run down the road without being sure of where your feet were landing. Of course, as a runner I would never have "passed the vet" and probably shouldn't have assumed my feet would land where I hoped they would. She's still running. My knees gave out years ago.
