Re: [RC] Tevis horse height - Becky RohwerThe vast majority of people do not actually know the height of their horses. They may think they do, but until the horse is measured with a stick and level on a solid surface, it's just a guesstimate (and some people are awful at that). No kidding, my husband and I once drove 75 miles to look at a horse for him. He was 6'2". I asked the people how tall the horse was. I asked if it was at least 15 hands or more. They said yes and that it would be perfect for my tall husband. When we got there the PONY was maybe 13 hands at best. Good Grief!
