[RC] Question about Ride Photography - sharon1359Hey all, I'm a pretty darn good ameteur photographer. I'm thinking about volunteering as a ride photographer this weekend... there is a long/steep granite-ledge mountain that people will be riding up over, and I know if *I* was riding, I'd LOVE a picture of my horse climbing up! (In fact, I was supposed to ride this weekend, but my horse has a stone bruise that might not resolve by then.) Besides, it's a new ride with only about 20 entries right now, and maybe my services will help draw people back next year. It's WAY too nice of a ride to have so few people entering! The ride is far enough away that I can't afford to drive down there and do it just out of the goodness of my heart! So I need to know a few things, please, about endurance ride photography: Do they usually use digital or film? What size prints are usually provided? What do the prints usually cost? Assuming that the photographer is competent, what proportion of riders decide to buy at least one photo? Thanks, -Sharon K. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
