Re: [RC] Cellphones on trail - Nancy SturmBecause my husband and I have a very noisy household, I love to do my training rides alone and he loves me to carry a cell phone just in case I have a problem out on trail. At the top of a long steep single track trail, riding my then green horse, the phone rang. He did an absolutely amazing airs-above-the-ground movement. I made a pilot error and got launched off my bomb proof older gelding. Phone was in the cantle pack - horse wasn't taking calls. And my two adult daughter training partners "take calls" multiple times during a ride. One glorious spring morning we were resting our horses by this gorgeous little spring-fed pond way up on a mountainside, and one of the girls got a call - sort of ruined the moment. Not sure I like the things!
