[RC] Refunds, RideCards and Green RMs - Eric Rueter

Just a couple of notes from the green-broke ride management of the Big South
Fork Ride.

Refunds: We do refund all fees collected, if you no-show for a cause and
request a refund. The Park Service does not allow us to collect money "on
site" at camp -at least in the open ;-) so we state on our entries that
payment in full is required with the entry. And since we live so far from
the ride area, we cannot go home to check the mailbox in the last days prior
to the ride when we are busy finishing marking trail (and what a great trail
it is!).

RideCards: We do give these back to the riders, except I believe if you
have been pulled. Also, we are experimenting with a new "waterproof card
stock and waterproof ink" this year. Yes, it is a bit pricy, but like
Truman and Angie pointed out, it might just be money well spent. We will
let RC know just how expensive and how well it goes (like did it rain, and
did they hold up) after the ride.

Green-Broke RM: We are taking the ride over from very competent hands
(Karen and Thomas Isaacs started the ride nine years ago). We have managed
CTR's in the past so we are not completely novice, but --- please be gentle!

Come to the Big South Fork 30/50/30/50 Sept 10-11, we promise we will make
every effort to treat you right.
