Re: [RC] Traler emergeny pull cord - Karen WilliamsHaving just had my truck and trailer go through yearly inspection today, I know the answer to this one as much to my horror the inspector just yanked out the pin! The brakes didn't work (this was tested by rolling the truck forward a bit and hitting the brakes), the battery was replaced, pin was put back in place and everything was fine (whew). Looked pretty easy to me......... Karen Quoting Benedikte Whitman <rallychk@xxxxxxxxxx>: Does anyone know how to test if your emergency brake pull cord on your trailer is working. My attachment point is very loose and I was wondering if it really works or if it needs to be fixed. Hate to find out it doesn't right when I need it. Also, once you do pull the cord and lock the brakes, how do you get them unlocked again?
