Re: [RC] Olympic Disciplines - heidiI had thought that they were going to add reining and endurance to the slate of Olympic Equestrian Events. I didn't find them in the schedule and wondered what was going on with it? You are confusing FEI with the Olympics. Only FEI disciplines get into the Olympics--but not ALL FEI disciplines do. If I recall, reining will likely be added at some point in the future. Endurance gets talked about from time to time, but the difficulty of adding an endurance venue to a crowded urban Olympic setting is one drawback, and another is that it just isn't a big drawing sort of "spectator" sport. Folks like stuff that they can see the performance in their living rooms in 2 minutes and get the results of the whole thing in an hour...
