I loved the idea behind the panel system, but they never really fit my horses perfectly. They were just the closest fit I could find. I always wished I could move this, shim that, or adjust the twist in the panel to fit better. Last year I could tell the horse I was riding just wasn't liking the OF any more so I decided it was time for a new saddle. I've spent the last 8 months looking at new saddles and/or looking for someone to build a custom saddle for me. I ended up looking at the Reactor Panels. I had one of their demos shipped out and fell in love with the design right out of the box. I knew it would work as soon as I saw it. I wanted to make some changes to the "standard Endurance Model" so ended up placing a custom order and it arrived a few weeks ago. I have never had nor seen a saddle fit a horse as well as this saddle AND it fits three of my four horses as well. In addition to riding endurance I'm a Lay Judge for CTR. I've looked at 1000s of horse's backs with 100s of different saddles over the years. So I probably get more excited than the average person about the "perfect fit." But I will say that I'm going to sell my OF saddles and replace them with RP's.
