Re: [RC] white legs - Barbara McCraryNO! Lots of good horses with white legs competing in endurance. I know.....it's an old horseman's belief, but there are some horses with white legs that have excellent hoof quality . And ones that don't have any sunburn situations, either. If the horse is otherwise a good prospect, I wouldn't let white legs prevent me from buying him. I am reading several books at once and I don't remember which one I read it in but iot cautioned against horses with white legs/pink skin saying that it is too tender, will sunburn and be sensitive to abrasions, especially in sand. I am in Florida so sun and sand are plentiful How strong a caution is this? do white legs absolutely ruile out a potential horse? thanks John =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
