I hope your friend talks to her doctor, and carries a "bee sting kit" with her at all times in the future. Sounds like she is allergic to stings. Anaphylacsis (what she experienced - airway closing, etc.) can kill. It's really fortunate you were able to get her to medical help so quickly! Sounds like a scary incident all around! Glad it all turned out ok.
