I would suggest that you try a thicker pad.
I and many other riders here on ridecamp have found the Equipedic Pad to be
excellent. It has foam inserts (Conforpedic - an impact reduction
material) positioned to sit under the bars of your saddle. These
inserts are removable so that the pad can be machine washed. You can
get more information about their pads at www.equipedic.com. I don't have all
the info up at my site yet.
