My two-year-old colt is prone to sand colic IF he is not feed his beet
pulp EVERY DAY!! THANKS SUSAN G!!! We have black sandy soil with no grass
growing. Basically a sandlot right now.

He does fine, whether just damp enough to get the sand all over the hay,
or dry as a bone and he nibbles up the dirt with his feed, the beet pulp
works wonders, is cheaper than fiber supplements and helps keep my hay
bill down.
