your filly is both afraid and lacks respect.  do lots of lateral flexion excercises to soften up that stiff neck.  fear leads to tension which leads to her escape reaction, which happens to be rearing.    teach her to stay out of your space, and stand quietly.  do some lunging to give her some work, but make her bend toward you and give at the head and neck.  work! work! work!  ed
