That is, to me, the most fundamental aspect of horse/human relationships, 
and that point of view has been almost always the last to be even 
considered, if it is considered at all.  Too many talk the talk but don't 
walk it.  Few humans would even think of thanking a horse for what it 
offers, such a simple and common courtesy when you're talking
