[RC] More Tevis Stats - Karen

245 starters, 129 finishers. 53% completion

Equine finishers: 29 mares, 2 stallions, 98 geldings.

Human finishers: 52 guys, 77 gals. This may be where I make a comment like California's Governor and point out that if any of the guys have "girlie names" they might not have been counted (sorry). :=)

9 riders entered the ride on horses that had more AERC miles than they had. 8 of them finished. Maybe horse experience means something more than people experience, since only 5 of 14 riders with over 10,000 miles completed. Perhaps the WST could look into adding requirements for the horses entering the ride too.
