[RC] Holds at Tevis - Tina Hicks

I see there there's only 2 hours of mandatory holds at Tevis - the rest are Gate and Go except Lyon Ridge which is trot by. That was kind of suprising to me. Has that been the case for a long time? Or did they try more mandatory holds at one time?

Does anyone know an average for how much rest or hold time most teams take when finishing the Tevis? I'm sure it's more than the mandatory 2 hours seeing as how many 50s have more than an hour hold time :)
