Re: [RC] Jiggy on the Trail. Need Suggestions... - Maggie Mieske

My sister bred her TWH mare to our Malik and we plan to repeat the breeding
next year. The filly is 4 now and hell on wheels (has finished three 25s, 2
on fairly tough terrain) but DOES have a brain (most of the time when she is
not doing her "teenage" cranial rectal inversion dance). :) Actually, it
was a very great cross and as she matures, mentally, emotionally and
physically, I can see her doing great things. For 4, she takes very good
care of my sister and they are a team like I have never seen. :) We
crossed a MFT mare we had to Malik that same year and got a filly also and
as we have been working more and more with her, have discovered she CAN
foxtrot. Wow, we can't wait to see how THAT goes. :) But she is not as
mature physically or mentally yet as the TWH/Arab filly. I do love my
crosses. :) NEXT year we will be having a Standardbred/Arab cross on the
ground. :) Reminds me of something I saw written on the plywood roof of a
house being remodelled (before roofing and finishing)... whose idea was
this??? :) We must be out of our minds!
