Fw: high-dollar sales (was Re: [RC] [RC] buying, selling, breeding, producing) - Dot WigginsAnd you can win money with these kinds of horses in this kind of events. It's the years of experience and the skill, not the age that counts. That horse will teach somebody how it's supposed to be done. Worth his weight in gold. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Barbara McCrary" <bigcreekranch@xxxxxxxxxx> To: <walkergirl@xxxxxxxxxx>; <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, July 22, 2004 10:10 AM Subject: Re: high-dollar sales (was Re: [RC] [RC] buying, selling, breeding, producing) I have been very interested in the asking prices for working QHs lately. Ads in our local livestock auction yard flyer show (example) a 15-17 year old QH, expert team penning, roping, etc. for something like $10,000. Lots of money for an older horse!
