[RC] nails & hair and such - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Nicole z_arabs@xxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== I can't imagine "done" nails, or jewelry, or any of that stuff. Haven't been to a hairdresser since I got out from under my mother's thumb. Ok, I have to admit I have long (fake) nails & I also get relatively vain about my hair. Heck, I even wear jewelry & half-way decent clothes and shoes. But, I also have a 9-5 job (computer programmer), so I'm an oxymoron all by myself (geek, horseperson, and somewhat girly all in one package). :) BTW, I have NO problem with my nails and riding or working around horses. Once you're used to long nails, they don't get in your way. Only thing they prevent me from doing is sheath cleaning. ;) I do remove all jewelry for riding. And hair is in a ponytail. Seriously, any of you who see me at rides -- or even riding and working day-to-day around the horses -- wouldn't recognize me as the same person that sits here in the office writing into RC. Ditto for those who I work with or socialize with in a non-horse setting; they wouldn't recognize the horse person.
