Phil, I've used Supracor and have had no troubles, but the one I REALLY

like

(and it costs about the same as Supracor), is the Equipedic.  My horse is
soooo comfortable with it, and it seems to keep his back cooler than with
almost any other pad I tried.  It's beautifully made, fits well, stays

put,

and I just brush it after each ride with a stiff horse brush.  When it got
really dirty and sweaty, I took a hose with a spray nozzle set on "sharp
spray" to it, blasted the dirt and sweat off and let it dry for about 3
days.  The instructions say to remove the inserts and wash the cover in

your

washer, but I didn't want to mess with the removal and replacement of the
foam inserts, so I just hosed it off.

Has anyone had any experience with Supracor pads.  They sound great in
their brochure, but I have been having a sore backed horse after using
