But I've sure never SOLD one that way!!(and don't think I'd want to either) Probably shouldn't admit this,,,but I'm possibly the easiest person in the world to sell a horse to. It only takes me about 15 minutes to decide, and I almost never ride one first. But when I'm selling one, I always seem to get the folks that bring an entourage of "horse experts" with them. They want to see the horse in the stall, in the pasture,in the trailer, free-lounged, tacked up, ridden in the corral, ridden down the street, ridden thru water, over a plastic tarp, in a parade. Then they need a video for their trainer, then they have to bring the trainer out to ride. Maybe take a few lessons. Then they need to talk to MY trainer,my vet, the previous owner/s, and anyone who has ever ridden the horse. Then they bring their farrier, the lady that owns the boarding stable and finally, their vet. Then they want to know if they can take my horse 100 miles away for a 30 day trial. LOL, I'm exaggerating, but not by much!!!!! I'd MUCH rather buy a horse than sell one. You forgot to mention that, after all that, then they would want you to reduce the price and/or take payments!!!
