[RC] re: trailer ties & hay bags - Cindy CollinsOne of the things the "old timers" used when picketing that would also work here to prevent rope burn if a leg gets over the rope...take a piece of rubber water hose, slit it, put over the lower part of the rope (closest to the horse), then duct tape the two ends. Just a thought. Also, I love the way Karen has her hay bags set up. I use the same bags, but I do have one mare who paws at them and I have to keep them high enough for her not to get her foot caught in them (which she did in the trailer and it was ugly!). Just some thoughts. Cindy =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
