I would love to find a good way to rate him a lot better, but so far have been unable to. We have had dressage lessons (the instructor told me my paso was a good little dressage horse.), we have tried different bits, we have tried hackamores, we have tried natural horsemanship, we on occasion have just played tug-o-war (he wins everytime). My fingers are callused. I am beginning to think the "i'm gonna go as fast as I want" attitude is bred in, and I might as well live with it. Sigh... Juli and Alpine (who is behaving slightly less studish, and went out on a calm, nice, 7 mile ride yesterday with no theatrics!
