[RC] New web page - Maryanne Stroud Gabbani

A couple of years ago a group of riders in Cairo got together to set up an endurance group to promote endurance, facilitate education of riders and to work on environmental issues in the area of Abu Sir, where most of them are located. The Egyptian Equestrian Federation, by Egyptian law, has the mandate over FEI sponsored endurance races, and has the priority over the longer distance rides. The Egyptian Endurance Riding Association has no affiliation with the FEI, primarily covers limited distances (under AERC definitions), and is rather more casual than the FEI/Egyptian Equestrian Federation.

I was asked recently to help out with communications for EERA and I've been working on a web page for them. It is, by definition, a work in progress, and will be improving over time. We plan to have more information on the environmental projects that we will be working on, more information on ride schedules, and so on.

I've suggested to EERA that this forum be used in conjunction with the web page to keep in touch with members and interested riders. After all, Egypt doesn't really have a phone book.
