[RC] wet foods & salt - Scott Johnson

My horses barely touch the salt block, plain or with minerals, nor do they bother with the loose salt I provide. So, after one mare had an episode of colic (vet found very dry feces inside), I decided, with vet's approval, to add 1-2 tablespoons of salt to my horses' feed. I do this year round and it helps a lot.
