Re: [RC] [RC] Leaving after rides - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Nicole z_arabs@xxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== I didn't think it was very good for the horses to put them into a trailer for a long drive after doing 50 miles anyway? This is my concern, too, if the drive is any longer than an hour or so (which for those of us in the PS region it's common to have only a 1-2 hour drive). As for the social factor, well, this is a personal thing. I do think it's not particularly respectful of the ride manager to leave prior to the awards (unless you need to leave for other commitments, and that certainly does happen). But, for many who are shy or loners and tend to be alone at rides, the social factor at the awards dinner isn't a big draw. :) ~Nicole =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
