I am posting this for a friend without internet.  She has a nice ranch on the 
American River Trail, just one mile past the finish line.  You can ride to 
Sacramento or up to Truckee.  Has an arena and a roundpen too.  There's a 
studio apartment over the barn stalls and also a cottage available.  Bring your 
horses and settle in for Tevis?  Will rent by the weekend, week, or month,
